Balloon mosaic pieces are hand-cut foam board shapes filled with balloons of different sizes. Flowers and LED lights can be added as optional accents. Because we custom cut each piece, your design can take the form of a shape, a number, a full name, or a logo.

What Height Should You Choose?

Standard heights are 3, 4, or 5 feet, and the right choice depends mostly on available space. For example, a 4 ft tall name like “Nancy” — spanning five letters — requires about 8 to 10 feet of horizontal space to lay out in a row. You should measure the spot where the piece will go before ordering, ensuring the length matches your venue layout on event day.

How Much Does a Mosaic Piece Cost?

We price each piece individually based on height: $35 for 3 ft, $45 for 4 ft, and $55 for 5 ft. Because we custom-make every item for a specific client, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to lock in materials. We recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks before your event.

How Long Do Mosaic Pieces Last?

Indoors, a mosaic piece typically holds up for 2 to 3 weeks. Outdoors, however, these large and lightweight structures remain vulnerable to rain and wind, so we advise against placing them outside in unfavorable weather. If outdoor placement proves unavoidable, adding extra weight or setting the piece close to a wall helps keep it stable as a display rather than a freestanding structure.

What Are Mosaic Shapes Best Used For?

Mosaic letters and numbers work especially well for graduation parties — spelling out a graduation year, a name, or a custom company or school logo. They also create a strong photo-backdrop element on their own.

Can You Combine a Mosaic Piece with a Balloon Garland?

We do not recommend pairing mosaic letters or numbers with a balloon garland. Combining the two breaks the visual logic that makes the mosaic readable, as the garland’s texture competes with the clean lines of the letters or numbers, making the piece harder to read at a glance.
