What Balloon Arch Styles Are Available?
Three arch styles are available: Classic ($340), Organic ($360), and a Floating Style Arch (from $240). Both Classic and Organic arches use a standard 12×12 ft size, since that’s the most requested dimension. For anything custom, pricing runs $12–$25 per linear foot, based on balloon brand and material quality.

Standard shapes like stars and snowflakes are included in these prices. However, extra custom decorative elements can add to the final cost.
How Much Does a Balloon Arch Cost in Atlanta?
Standard designs start at $240–$360, while fully custom arches run $12–$25 per linear foot. The exact price depends on the balloon brand and finish you choose. To reserve your date, I ask for a 50% deposit up front, since colors and materials — including Bubble balloons and Mylar shapes — get ordered specifically for your event and can’t be swapped last-minute.
How Long Does a Balloon Arch Last — Indoors and Outdoors?
Indoors, a balloon arch typically holds up for about a week in a cooler, climate-controlled room. That’s because balloons keep their shape much better in cold air than in heat. Outdoors, durability depends heavily on the weather. In the shade, an arch usually lasts around 6 hours. Beyond that, heat and sun take a toll: balloons are made from a biodegradable material, so outdoor exposure makes them lose their fresh look far faster than an indoor display would. For this reason, I generally recommend installing indoors when possible.
Two extra factors affect how long an outdoor arch survives:
- Dark-colored balloons absorb more heat from direct sunlight. As a result, they’re more likely to pop or show visible sun damage on the surface.
- Wind at or above 14 mph makes an outdoor arch unsafe to leave in place. At that point, no amount of weight can hold the structure steady, since the wind itself distorts the material. Once wind hits this threshold, the arch needs to come indoors.
Since Atlanta weather can shift quickly, I recommend keeping an indoor backup location ready — a simple Plan B — for any outdoor installation.
How Does Installation Work, and How Long Does It Take?
On-site installation goes quickly, because I pre-assemble the arch sections in advance. Only final assembly happens at the venue itself, which matters since most events only allow a limited setup window. Home installations, though, offer more flexibility: I can often set up the day before the event instead of the same day, which removes a lot of day-of pressure.
How Do You Make Sure the Colors Match My Event?
Color names mean different things to different people, so I confirm exact shades before placing any balloon order. For instance, clients often mix up “burgundy” and “maroon.” Similarly, lighter tones like blush can lean more blue or greener depending on the batch. To avoid mismatches, I recommend one simple step: send a photo of something that will already be at your event, like a dress, tablecloth, floral arrangement, drapery, or banner. That way, I can match the balloon palette to what’s actually in the room, not just to a color name.
